"As an artist, have you ever had that moment of uncertainty whether it be in the wiring or rehearsal stage? You wanted to lean in and lean on someone anyone whom you could trust, in those vulnerable moments. Suraya Keating, is that being, person, and spirit. I've been to the creative edge, there I stood looking down, and when I glanced to my right. There was Suraya, what happened next? Jump into Soul Stories and you'll find out."

The play "Menopause Monologues," directed by Suraya Keating, was profoundly touching, hilarious, and deeply moving. Each woman on stage crafted a theatrical masterpiece about their experience from menses to menopause. Each highlighted beautiful, harrowing, and tragic aspects of growing up in the modern world, from Maiden to Woman to Queen and Crone. How as girls, they were confused, silenced, shamed, and misled, and as women, going through the natural and normal hormonal changes of mid-life, experienced these emotions all over again.
I loved how the play had equally gritty parts, as well as hilarity and celebratory parts. The stories, the women on stage, were nothing but triumphs. The play changed me. I am eternally grateful to Suraya for putting this together and sharing her profound journey. To all of the women on stage and to the audience who cheered them on—THANK YOU. We need more of this. www.siennasmith.com
